The Only Producer of Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in the Middle East

During the Extraordinary General Assembly of Rahavard Tamin Pharmaceutical Company, an opportunity arose for Dr. Ahmadreza Taheri, the company’s CEO, to share the latest updates regarding its recent activities:

“Rahavard Tamin” is known as a producer of PVP and acrylate-based products, and virtually all pharmaceutical companies in the country seek out our raw materials.
I must emphasize that we are the only producer of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in Iran and the Middle East.

The main purpose of the General Assembly was to restructure the company’s finances, and considering the company’s profitability, a capital increase was necessary. Another key topic was the PVP expansion project, for which part of the capital increase has been allocated as project funding.

We are also seriously pursuing GMP development plans, and in the coming years, we will work on infrastructure projects, including the construction of gas and solar power plants.

A 970% capital increase—funded through retained earnings and asset revaluation—was approved with the consent of the shareholders.
